From R&D Workshop to Global Smart Crusher Manufacturer
In 2005, our founding team of mechanical and controls engineers set out to solve the fundamental inefficiency in conventional crushing: reactive maintenance, manual operation and excessive fuel consumption. The first TerraForce jaw crusher with embedded sensors shipped in 2008. By 2015, we had developed the TerraConnect IoT platform — making predictive maintenance a standard feature rather than an add-on. In 2021, we introduced the hybrid-electric powertrain that now defines our product line.
Today, 8.5% of our annual revenue is reinvested in R&D, and our team of 85 engineers and data scientists holds 34 active patents across hydraulic systems, IoT connectivity and energy recovery technology.
